About Brian

Brian, the coach behind CultureQuery

Brian spent seven years at Accenture Strategy as a People & Culture Strategy Manager, embedded advisor to CEOs, CHROs, and C-suite leadership at Fortune 500 clients across pharma, biotech, retail, and non-profit sectors. He built and scaled coaching programs across more than a dozen organizations, serving 500+ managers and executives, and led enterprise culture strategy work spanning 35,000+ employees, centered on the same two levers CultureQuery measures: psychological safety and intrinsic motivation. He holds a Certificate in Executive Coaching from Columbia's Coaching Certification Program (3CP) and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Northwestern.

In 2025, after seven years in consulting, Brian took an intentional break, including an extended stay in Thailand studying contemplative practice. CultureQuery is what came out of the return: the same scan he'd been running by hand for years in live workshops, rebuilt as a tool, grounded in the published research instruments described on the methodology page rather than anything invented for this product.

This tool has no good or bad score because Brian doesn't believe in one. Seeing what's actually true before deciding whether it's good or bad is the same instinct behind the coaching and the product.

CultureQuery is simply a compass, pointing teams inward. It works not by telling a team what's wrong, but by helping them see clearly enough to find their own way and make realizations on their own that naturally become embedded in teams.
